It has been a few months of work we put into our props and poses - and now we're curious to see what creativity it sparks in you! So it's time for our first photo contest!

• First Prize: 5000L paid out to you directly, plus a 1500L gift card for (*chanimations
• Second Prize: 2500L paid out to you directly, plus a 1000L gift card for (*chanimations

Both Winners will be displayed with full credit to their work in our mainstore.


And as with everything, in the following 10 things you'll need to remember for your submissions:

RULES
-----------
1. You must use poses and props by (*chanimations. Of course you are not bound to using specific 'sets as they come in the box', mix and match any of our poses with any of our props you like - be creative!

2. Main focus must be SL imagery. Don't paste your AV into RL pictures please. Beyond that, all graphical styles and image themes are allowed! This includes as well nudity, we're all adults! Just keep in mind we'd like to display the winner in our store - so please keep it artistic!

3. Post-production with any graphic program on the image is allowed and encouraged, but of course also 'plain SL snapshots' can be submitted if you feel it works with your image concept!

4. MOST IMPORTANT: You are the creator of the artwork and hold full rights on the image! With submitting your pictures to the contest, you are granting (*chanimations the right to use it in connection to our store (like storeposter and to post it on our blog for example).


ENTRIES and DEADLINE

5. No specific image formate is required, but it MUST be at least 1024x1024 pixels. (for everything that's extending to that, can be squared, portrait, landscape, panorama.... your call!)

6. You may submit up to TWO entries per person. Take your time and decide on your finals and don't submit more than those two. Changes on your selections can be made until deadline - not afterwards.

7. Submit your picture to our flickr pool at http://www.flickr.com/groups/chanimations - if it is needing 'restricted' flagging according to flickr ToS, please follow the link on the group page to our v18+ image pool.

8. Your work MUST be TAGGED with "(*chanimations pictureContest Spring 2009" otherwise it will not enter the contest (we will search by tag to see all submissions since there is other images in our pools as well).

9. Please list the items you used for your composition in your picture description.

10. Deadline for entries will be Monday, May 11th 2009 at noon (12pm SLT). Submissions after this time will not be valid anymore.

-ShowDiva- is available in different color packs (corresponding to those colors of the 'ShowGirl' set) and a special color edition in peacock feathers (those are NOT included in the MultiColor pack!) and contains photography props and poses with the following properties:

4 POSES (no mod/no transfer):

• (* FeatherBoa(1) open
• (* FeatherBoa(2) open (HeadTilted)
• (* FeatherBoa(3) presentLeft
• (* FeatherBoa(4) presentRight

All POSES are static and come with 'copy' rights so you can put them into your posestands or make own poseball arrangements.

The pack includes the poses as single animations and in a multiPoseball which responds to /1 show and /1 hide and allows to toggle the poses by using the pageUp/pageDown keys.


PROPS (no copy/no modify/transfer):
----------------------------------------------
• 4 different shaped feather boas, corresponding to the poses of the set. They come in the color of the pack you chose. (Available color-packs are Black, White, Red, Pink, Blue and one Multipack that contains all fan colors)
• (* Cigarette Holder **BLACK/SILVER**

The feathers are digitally illustrated - so no fuzzy halos or edges and only 100% feather goodness ;-) The boas come with 'transfer' setting so you can pass them to the model - or if you're unsure they'll give them back to you, rezz them instead and position them. (Each has about 184 - 193 prims so if that's the route you're going, make sure to free up some prims beforehand)

The FeatherBoa comes as well with an option to turn fullbright on/off - for some lightsettings it is better to work with fullbright (it also reduces the alpha transparency issue SL has), while for other scenarios (especially nightsetting) it might be too much to have everything dark but one glowing FeatherBoa - this option should help you adjust to your surrounding perfectly :-) You either click the boa, or if camera positioning wouldn't allow you use chatcommands:

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The above described option to toggle between fullbright on/off is not included in the black boa. Why? Simple: the dark textures don't require it for the transparency and black on fullbright simply looks weird cause it stays black, but the greys are over-the-top-too-much bright. Hence why I decided to save you all from unneeded scripts. ;-)

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!

The size of the fans can be adjusted by touch menu - please read included notecard for information regarding the resize script!

The fans' feathers are digitally illustrated - so no fuzzy halos or edges and only 100% feather goodness ;-) - along with that, the wood is 'carved' with unique custom textures and completed by sculpted ornaments. The fans come with 'transfer' setting so you can pass them to the model - or if you're unsure they'll give them back to you, rezz them instead and position them.
(Unless you have deleted the re-size scripts in the fans, you might want to consider passing the explaination of the functions as well to them to avoid any accidential clicks by them!)

And as with everything scripted: Make sure you are in a sim that allows for scripts to run!
